ANNEX D
Jesus as Subject to His Father Yahweh:
Scripture lays it bare—
Jesus bends the knee to Yahweh, not just when He walked as flesh, but after His ascent. Paul’s letters and Revelation shred any doubt—He’s no equal, but a son under the Father’s crown, even in glory.
John 20:17
Jesus said to her, “Stop clinging to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brethren, and say to them, ‘I ascend to my Father and your Father, and my god and your god.’”
Romans 15:6
So that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the god and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 1:17
I keep asking that the god of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.
2 Corinthians 1:3
Praise be to the god and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort.
2 Corinthians 11:31 (KJV)
The god and Father of our Lord Jesus, He who is blessed forever, knows that I am not lying.
1 Peter 1:3
Praise be to the god and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
Revelation 1:6
And has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his god and Father– to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.
Revelation 3:12
Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my god. Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the name of my god and the name of the city of my god, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my god; and I will also write on him my new name.
Rev 22:6-9
Then the angel said to me, “These words are faithful and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets (angels), has sent his angel to show his servants what must soon take place. Behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of prophecy in this book.” And I am John, the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had shown me these things. But he said to me, “Do not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God!”
Final Citation Note: In that last verse, it’s one angel facing John—no choir, no proxy. It’s Jesus Himself, peeling back the veil, standing raw as an angel before John’s eyes.
