GETTING SAVED FROM HELL .P2

WORDS BENEATH THE FLAMES

Scripture’s tongue bites sharp—no hellfire flares. Sheol’s a pit, death’s silence (Psalm 16:10); Hades cradles shades, no screams (Acts 2:27); Gehenna’s Jerusalem’s ash heap, not torment’s kiln (Matthew 5:22); the Abyss jails angels, not souls (Revelation 20:3). God’s word ends it there—clean cuts, no blaze. Then man’s hands warped it—blew it wide. Church pulpits bellowed it raw—human scars over God’s truth. What scripture kills, man’s quills burned alive.

Glossary:

  • Sheol: Hebrew grave—resting pit, no flames.

  • Hades: Greek Sheol—shadows, not screams.

  • Gehenna: Valley of Hinnom—trash burns, not souls.

  • Abyss: Bottomless pit—rebel angels’ cage, not ours.

MAN'S TORCH

Scripture douses hell—silence reigns, ashes settle. Man struck the match—church’s roar. Truth charred; fear forged the inferno.
