SEVENTH SEAL: DRAGON’S ROOT

Rev 8:1 roars—“Seventh seal splits, silence grips heaven.” Truth slams hard, uncontained. Before he was a man, Lucifer slithered as Leviathan—sea dragon, Lotan—haunting Job’s dirt days. Ancient serpent (Rev 12:9), fleeing, twisting—Ps 74:14 describes it with more than one head. Isa 27:1 tags him “tortuous serpent,” doomed to eat God’s blade: “Yahweh swings His sharp, mighty sword—slays the dragon of the sea.” How? Isa 26:20-21 snarls it—hide, shut doors, wrath’s coming: “Earth bleeds out her slain, no more cover-up.” Rev 16:6, 18:24 spill the guts—church, scarlet Harlot, drowned saints and prophets in blood. Seven seals crack it: church ain’t holy—it’s the whore.

• Leviathan (לִוְיָתָן): Pre-Lucifer sea dragon, chaos force— untamed evil.

• Lotan: Ugaritic serpent—Leviathan’s shade with seven heads.

• Ancient serpent (ὁ ὄφις ὁ ἀρχαῖος): Lucifer’s primeval form—world-deceiving dragon.

• Harlot (πορνη): Corrupt church—Babylon’s scarlet ally, drenched in blood.

• Yahweh (יהוה): Israel’s God—once suffering Job, now divine Judge.
