THE SCRIPTURES .P2
TRANSLATION’S TREACHERY
Church scribes gutted it—bled truth dry. Matt 19:24’s “camel” was gamla (ܓܰܡܠܳܐ )—Aramaic rope—threading heaven’s needle, not a circus trick. Ex 23:19’s goat-milk ban? An idiom; ungrateful, not a chef’s rule—context torched. English, the Bible’s loudest tongue, mangles most, sowing clashes from lost strings. Antonio Brucioli’s Tuscan Bible (1532) cut the gloss—Job 19:25, “My Redeemer lives,” rings raw, no haze. But the real carnage? Hebrew’s divine kaleidoscope—Elohim (gods’ majesty), Eloah, YHWH (sacred name), El (raw power), Adonai (lordly bond), Shaddai (might or ruin)—smashed into “God.” Aramaic’s Elah and Mare? Same fate. New Testament’s theos—a god—swells into Theon. Capital it-G God—makes him the Boss. Bias baked lies—religion slashed its roots, a divine mosaic shattered into one lost shard.
