The State of the Church: A Call to Come Out

Satan’s Throne in the Church

Revelation 3:12 speaks of Satan’s throne within the Church—an image that suggests evil is deeply embedded in religious institutions, even those claiming to serve God.

Mystery, Babylon the Great

Who is she? This figure, described as The Mother of Harlots and The Abominations of the Earth, represents the corruption and falsehood within the Church. Babylon, a biblical symbol of idolatry and worldliness, has infiltrated the faith, leading many away from true worship.

The Call to Separate

Revelation 18:4 declares: “Come out of her, my people…”—a call for God’s people to separate from corrupt religious systems. Revelation 19:7 states that the Bride of Christ is finally made ready, implying that the Church had not been pure before this moment. This raises critical questions:

• What went wrong with the Church?

• Why must it be made ready if it was once pure?

The Church:

and the Symbolism of Women

In biblical symbolism, women often represent the New Testament Church. Over 2000 years of religious wars, theological conflicts, and reformations—such as Martin Luther’s challenge to the established Church—have left their mark. What remains today is an institution heavily influenced by human interference. The Harlot in the Book of Revelation is therefore a pictorial depiction of the Church of the end times.

The Early Church’s Struggles

and the Present State

Paul warned in Galatians 2:4 that false believers infiltrated the early Church to strip away the freedom found in Christ. Nearly 2000 years later, none of the original apostles remain—so how much of their teachings have been altered, forgotten, or misrepresented?

The modern Church is fragmented into countless denominations, each interpreting Christ’s message differently. Over time, religious institutions have been shaped by human doctrines, traditions, and religious wars, distancing themselves from Jesus’ original teachings.

The call in Revelation to “come out” is a reminder to return to the purity and truth of Christ. We must ask:

• Does modern Christianity truly reflect the Gospel?

• Has it been reshaped by centuries of religious evolution?

A Time of Judgment and

Restoration

As we approach the final days, God’s judgment will expose the Church’s true state. The mysteries of Revelation will come to light, and the purified Church will be ready to unite with Christ. The question remains:

• Are we following the original teachings of Jesus?

• Or are we part of a religious system that has strayed from its foundation?

Jesus did not come to establish a new religion—humanity did that after His time. He did not author the books of the Bible, and aside from Judaism, all Abrahamic religions and their denominations were formed long after His earthly ministry. Jesus’ mission was to reveal the truth of God, and at His second coming, He will restore that truth through the unveiling of the Seven Seals.
